A catalogue of the very valuable and entire collection of drawings and paintings in oil, of Sir Robert Ainslie, Bart. : the whole of which were executed by that ingenious artist, Mayer, for Sir Robert Ainslie, during his travels in the Levant, his residence at Constantinople, and his return from thence to England : of this extensive collection, a few drawings have been executed (by permission of the proprietor), but the greater part will be found particularly interesting, being views of celebrated spots and remains of antiquity, unnoticed by intelligent writers and picturesque tourists : together with the complete itinerary, in a series of views through the little frequented countries of Bulgaria and Wallachia, from Constantinople to the Austrian Frontiers : also, a few marbles : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, 10th March, 1809, and following day.

A catalogue of a valuable and interesting collection of high-finished modern pictures and drawings, framed and glazed : being the genuine and entire stock of an eminent publisher, retiring from business : among the paintings, are The Lord of the Vineyard, and Death of Sapphira, by Opie : original finished studies of wild animals by Northcote : an exquisite small modem of the Storming of Seringapaam, and a ditto the Death of Abercrombie, by R. K. Porter : Howard visiting the Prison, by Wheatley : and various historical, popular and fancy subjects, by Angelica, Wheatley, Morland, Fuseli, Tresham, Stothard, Cosway, Singleton, Benwell, Bigg, Naysmith, Schweickhardt, Jones, Farrington, Marlow, Hodges : the drawings are chiefly by Cipriani, Bartolozzi, Zuccarelli, Hamilton, Stothard, Wheatley, Ker Porter, Loutherbourg, Girtin, Hearne, Sandby, La Porte, Walmsley, Payne, Pocock : also, a small assemblage of architectural and other drawings, framed and glazed : loose prints and books of ditto : a choice collection of plaister casts and busts, from the antique, brought from Rome by an artist : mathematical instruments : skins of vellum for drawing : drawing implements, &c. : a small collection of pictures by Old Masters : and without reserve, sixty copper plates, never published, designed as a supplement to the Vitruvius Britannicus, being elevations of buildings executed by eminent architects : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, 24th February, 1809, and following day, at twelve o'clock.

A catalogue of a capital, valuable and choice collection of pictures, by celebrated Masters of the Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch Schools : a few of which are choice specimens, not long since purchased on the Continent, and in the highest preservation : they comprise the works of Titian, Giorgione, P. Veronese, M. Angelo, Cav. d'Arpino, Caracci, Comenichino, Guido, Guercino, Albano, D. Feti, A. Veronese, Teniers, Rembrand, Cuyp, J. Steen, De Honge, A. V. de Velde : also, a capital Historical Picture of N. Poussin : the Angels confounding the Men of Gomorrah : two portraits, Titian : a grand scene in Venice, with a procession of the Doge on St. Luke's Day : Caneletti, from the Vatican : and a few select landscapes, by Wilson, the property of the late B.
