K. Porter : Howard visiting the Prison, by Wheatley : and various historical, popular and fancy subjects, by Angelica, Wheatley, Morland, Fuseli, Tresham, Stothard, Cosway, Singleton, Benwell, Bigg, Naysmith, Schweickhardt, Jones, Farrington, Marlow, Hodges : the drawings are chiefly by Cipriani, Bartolozzi, Zuccarelli, Hamilton, Stothard, Wheatley, Ker Porter, Loutherbourg, Girtin, Hearne, Sandby, La Porte, Walmsley, Payne, Pocock : also, a small assemblage of architectural and other drawings, framed and glazed : loose prints and books of ditto : a choice collection of plaister casts and busts, from the antique, brought from Rome by an artist : mathematical instruments : skins of vellum for drawing : drawing implements, &c. : a small collection of pictures by Old Masters : and without reserve, sixty copper plates, never published, designed as a supplement to the Vitruvius Britannicus, being elevations of buildings executed by eminent architects : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, 24th February, 1809, and following day, at twelve o'clock.
