A catalogue of the very valuable and entire collection of drawings and paintings in oil, of Sir Robert Ainslie, Bart. : the whole of which were executed by that ingenious artist, Mayer, for Sir Robert Ainslie, during his travels in the Levant, his residence at Constantinople, and his return from thence to England : of this extensive collection, a few drawings have been executed (by permission of the proprietor), but the greater part will be found particularly interesting, being views of celebrated spots and remains of antiquity, unnoticed by intelligent writers and picturesque tourists : together with the complete itinerary, in a series of views through the little frequented countries of Bulgaria and Wallachia, from Constantinople to the Austrian Frontiers : also, a few marbles : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, 10th March, 1809, and following day.
