1. A survey and description of the principal harbours : with their accommodation and conveniences for erecting, moaring, securing and refitting the Navy Royal of England via the rivers of Thames and Medway, containing Chatham and Sheerness Dockyards on the latter, and Woolwich and Deptford on the former : also the port of Portsmouth and Southampton water, with the dockyard on the former, Plymouth sound with the coast of Devonshire to Torbay, with the late erected new dockyard at Hamoze & the Navy Office near Tower-Hill, London : illustrated by general planns and proper views or prospects of each place to which the particular buildings thereof are confin'd : together with an account of the improvements which have been made at each yard since the Revolution, 1688, giving a numericall account of the several kinds of buildings with their quantity and value which by an estimate rate they may be accounted worth to the nation : also an account of the nature and usefullness of the late erected New Docks at Portsmouth and the yard at Plymouth.
