Manuscript survey of royal dockyards, written in a copper-plate hand, with numerous views, panoramas, plans, and maps drawn in watercolor and pen and ink. A more embellished copy of the manuscript is found at the British Library (King's MS. 43). Dummer retired from his position as Assistant Surveyor to the Navy in 1699, the year the present work was completed. It was intended to commemorate his work for the Navy, and the present volume presumably belonged to Dummer.
