Set of 36 cards containing riddles in manuscript. The set is written in pen and brown ink throughout, in a single unidentified hand. The cards are neatly and uniformly scalloped at the corners. They are sewn together, at the side edges, with strips of pink ribbon, so that the set forms a single continuous chain of cards and ribbon. The first and last cards also have ribbons sewn at the top and bottom edges, with which to tie the set closed in deck form.
