Comprises a frontispiece portrait of Lairesse, followed by a series of prints predominantly by him, along with engravings by his students or contemporaries. Almost all known copies of the work exhibit differences in content and order. There are four known states. The first bears the imprint of N. Visscher; the second and third, that of G. Valck (in the third the plates are numbered); the fourth, that of P. or L. Schenck. See: Timmers.
