The latter reads: "To the members of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, this collection of prints of the Cathedral, abbey, and collegiate churches is respectfully inscribed by their obliged and obedient servant, John Buckler, A.D. 18[?]0."Bound in contemporary half leather and green cloth.A collection of prints, presumably unique, compiled for presentation to the Royal Institution (see dedication leaf). The first 27 prints are outline proofs before letters, each titled, signed, and dated in manuscript ("drawn and etched by John Buckler, [date]"). The final 37 prints are published versions, with aquatint and (with two exceptions) lettering.
