Lettered in black ink, lower center: "But about Midnight, or Soon affter, the Drums beat, and the Cry was, Arm, Arm. I got out of Bed, took Boat, and Landing | at Whitehall Stairs, walked through Whitehall. They looked Stragely on me there; but I went on to the Pell Mell, | though it was now grown dangerous passing the Streets: For by this time the City and the Suburbs were up in Arms, and ex- | ceeding rude the People and Soldiers were; insomuch that they knockt down Henry Fell, going to a Friends House: and he | had been killed, if the Duke of York had not come by."; lower right: "George Fox his Journal.
