Taken from the Steeple of the Church of St. Mary MAgdalen | Bermondsey was originally an Alien Priory of Cluniuc Monks founded by Aylwin Child, Anno 1082. Augmented in its revenue by King W.m 2 Anno 1089 made an Abby Anno 1399. At the supporession | of Religious Houses by King Henry 8th its annual revenue was valued at £584.2.3.
