The collection comprises letters from Paul Oppé to Janet Camp Troxell, with related material. The bulk of the collection comprises letters written from Oppé to Troxell between 1950 and 1957 (items 1-79). Also present: two Christmas cards from Oppé to Troxell, 1955-1956 (items 80-81); three postcards from Oppé to Troxell, 1953-1955 (items 82-84); one letter from Armide Oppé to Troxell, 1955 (item 85); one letter from William Mills Ivins to Troxell, 1954 (item 86); two letters from Joan Hassall to Troxell, 1953 (items 87-88); and one letter and printed invitation from Marit Guinness Aschan to Troxell, 1955 (items 89-90).
