- "The Annals of Horsemanship, written by [Henry William] Bunbury under the pseudonym of Geoffrey Gambado and published in 1808 by W. Baynes, 54 Paternoster Row, London, was illustrated by stipple-etched plates of these same views. In spite of the close similarity in size and subject matter, the Apotheosis etchings were not printed from the same copperplates as the Annals plates."--Podeschi.
