The album includes several hundred wax seals, signatures, and fragments of addressed envelopes, all pasted in. The compiler of the album is unidentified, but there is frequent appearance of the name of Captain Thomas Turner Alkin (1774-1846), of Hunton Court Lodge, Maidstone.
