BAC : British Art Center copy bound in 5 v., all in blind-stamped vellum bindings.
Title varies. Several title-pages in red and black. Theil 1 and Bund 2 have added engraved title-pages. Der neue Welt-Bott mit allerhand Nachrichten deren Missionarien Soc. Iesu.
Imprint varies. Title-page to Bund 4 and to parts. 26-36 have imprint: Wien, L.J. Kaliwoda, part 25 has no imprint.
Each part has independent title-page and separate paging and registration, except parts 21-22 and 23-24, which are double parts.
The work is also divided into five "Bunde." Bund 1-4 with independent t.-p., Bund 1 comprising parts 1-8, Bund 2 parts 9-16.Bund 3 parts. 17-24, Bund 4 parts 25-32, and [Bund 5] parts 33-36. In the 2 ed. Augspurg und Grätz, 1728-61 (q.v.) parts 37-38 form the second half of Bund 5. It is apparently not known whether parts 37-38 should be present in the first edition.
"Mostly taken from unpublished manuscripts. Only the smaller part has been translated from the 'Lettres edifiantes.' - Sabin 52870. Completed after Stoecklein's death by Peter Probst and Franciscus Keller.
