The Old and New Testaments (v. 1-7) are dated 1800; these were issued in 70 numbers (cf. Lowndes). The Apocrypha (v. 8) has imprint: London : Printed for T. Cadell and W. Davies, by Thomas Bensley, 1816. All vols have subtitle on t.p. that reads: Embellished with engravings from pictures and designs by the most eminent British artists.
