Notes:
Illustrations by Peter Stent; after John Peirson.
Dutch engraver Peter Stent was working in London from 1640 to 1667; the print and map-seller John Overton moved from Little Britain to the White Horse without Newgate in 1671 and remained there until 1707. Presumably, therefore, this jeu d'esprit was printed from an old plate with a new imprint line added, possibly years later.
