BAC: British Art Center copy has leaf pi2 misbound between leaves a8 and b1. Bound in contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards. "Two stamps are used: a diamond-shaped 'Agnus Dei' and a circular stamp of a six-petaled flower with spurs between the petals similar to one used by an English binder identified by Oldham ... as the 'Crucifer Binder.' The binding once had two clasps, now missing. On the front cover is the supra libris, 'The Society of Writers to the Signet.' The shelf mark of the society is inside the front cover. The binding appears to have been rebacked in the 18th century and again recently. The modern repairs preserve the earlier back strip ... Sold in the sale of books from the Signet Library at Sotheby (15 March 1960)."--Grolier Club.
