- Notes:
- "The first edition of Mechanical perspective has not been traced, but it was probably published in 1827 (to judge by the date of the frontispiece). It is probable that the first edition contained the same plates as the present edition, with the exception of plates [9-12] ... all dated '1829'. The work was published both as a guide to the use of the instruments, and as an advertisement for Ronalds' wares."--British Architectural Library.
