The letterpress leaves include French and English in parallel columns. The plates are captioned in English.
The plates include one map: "A map of part of the River Ganges, Jumna, Goomty and Gogra, with the names of the several places from whence the views where taken in this work. Copied by permission of Major Rennall [i.e. Rennell] from his most valuable map."
