Vols. for 1827 and 1829 contain 24 plates by George and Robert Cruikshank, also issued separately as "London characters"; the 12 plates in 1827 have Robins' imprint dated Jan. 1-Dec. 1, 1827; 1829 has portrait of Mr. Keeley by George Cruikshank. 1830 has 24 plates by Robert Cruikshank, assisted by George, also issued separately as "Comicalities".
Work was issued in monthly parts, with wrappers, and subsequently in volume form.
