Originally published in 44 parts, between 1830 and 1831, with printed cover title: Jones' Views in Wales, comprising, in about twenty numbers, the most picturesque and beautiful scenery in that roman country, unequalled [sic] in Europe : each number containing four views. The phrase "in about twenty numbers" is omitted from parts after part 15.
"The leaves in gatherings Cc to Ooo and their corresponding plates were also issued (concurrently?) under the title South Wales illustrated, in a series of views ..."--British Architectural Library.

Each of the 112 steel-engraved plates bears two subjects.
