All drawings are uncredited, except for the fourth, which is signed "Sarah Stone, 1787."
Bound in contemporary green morocco. A red inlay on the front cover is stamped in gilt with the word "Archery"; a similar inlay on the back cover bears the name "John Madocks Esqr."
The volume includes drawings of diverse bows, arrows, and archery accessories, including bracelets, finger guards, and quivers. Also depicted are a weighing engine, a "Toxophilite wasp", English ascams (cabinets), markers, targets, hats, and "The Royal Kentish Caterpillar" (the last dated July 7, 1793). The volume also includes drawings depicting the iconography of archery societies, including the Toxophilite Society, the Kentish Bowmen, and the British Bowmen.
