- The present edition consists of copies by Joachim von Sandrart from Giovanni Giacomo de Rossi's Roman publication of the same name. It corresponds closely to de Rossi's edition of 1684 in 72 numbered plates, but omits the frontispiece and final plate. Many images are reversed.
A small number of plates are signed by Johann Baptist Homann.
