Multicolored silk stevengraph bookmark decorated with various red and white flowers surrounded by green leaves and with lines of verse in purple and red. The decorative flowers at the head of the bookmark are accompanied by embroidered red text that reads "to my mother."
"Dear mother, let they tender care be graven on my heart; may God for years thy life yet spare, averting Death's rude dart. How gratefully I feel thy worth, oh, mother! How I love thee! May joy await thee here on earth, and heaven smile above thee."
