- The design of the title page and binding are very probably derived from the Egyptian Hall that stood in Piccadilly from 1812. The early 1830s was nearer the end of this phase of fashion in the Egyptian Revival. The folding plate resembles part board game and part zodiac with a nod to "Ancient Egypt."
