A catalogue of the genuine reserved property of Mr. A.C. de Poggi of New Bond-Street, retired from business : consisting of a most valuable collection of beautiful pictures, painted in body colours, by Paul Sandby, Esq. R.A. and other eminent artists, elegantly framed, a great variety of highly-finished cabinet prints, coloured as miniatures : an assemblage of eighty-nine lots of very scarce proofs and aqua fortis impressions, in high preservation, forming an early part of the most scarce prints engraved by F. Bartolozzi, Esq. R.A. : proof and other prints of various masters: scarce portraits of the great literary & military characters living in Germany near the close of the last century, by J.F. Bause of Leipzig; Professor Muller of Stutgard; and other artists of eminence : capital drawings by Sidelman, in handsome gilt frames and plate glasses, taken from the pictures of Coregio, Raphael, Mengs, & Ferdinand Bol, in the electoral collection at Dresden : three of the largest convex glasses made by the British Cast Plate Company, in rich and handsome gilt frames, &c. &c. : the whole forming a selection no less calculated to attract the attention of the connoisseur, than adapted for useful and ornamental embelishments of the most handsome apartments of private families : which will be sold by auction by Peter Coxe, Burrell, and Foster, at the Great Room, late othe King's-Arms, Cornhill, on Wednesday, the 20th of May, 1801, & following day, at eleven o'clock.
