Sandby, Hearne, Meye, Greffe, Hills, Serres, Pillement, Chatelain, &c. &c. : also many fine iImpressions by Bartolozzi, Weston, Collier, Sharp, &c. : a number of fine etchings of cattle, &c. by V. de Velde, Potter, Jardin, Bergehm : a large collection of drawings by Hearnel : and a few fine pictures by Ruysdael, Lingelback, Wilson, Barrett, Morland, &c. : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, February 21, 1800, and following Day, at twelve o'clock : may be viewed two days preceding the sale, when catalogues may be had.

"The seller was Timothy Sheldrake (1729-1800), who was the son of the botanist Timothy Sheldrake (ca.1691-ca.1759) and the grandson of the saddler Timothy Sheldrake (d.1717); however, he was known as "the elder" because he and his son Timothy Sheldrake "the younger" (b.1759) were both truss makers."--Getty provenance index databases.
