"Goode & Co. was a steel pen distributor. The nibs came from Perry & Co. The name Goode was used by Perry & Co. for pens exported to Russia."--Alan Cole, The Museum of Writing.
"Caution. In order to be certain that you receive pens with high percentage of carbon, look for this signature! Goode & Co."--Box bottom. The same text is also given in Russian.
The box-top depicts a handful of primrose flowers.
Box of "Primrose" steel pen nibs manufactured by Goode & Co., London. The product no. "A 8 E.F." is recorded on a sided of the box. The nibs are placed loosely in a cardboard tray, accessed via a pull tab. The outward-facing side of the tray, mounted with brass, bears a specimen of the nibs enclosed therein.
