The text of the maps is mostly in Dutch.
Description based on the Yale Center for British Art copy, in which the title and imprint (in French) are printed on a slip that is pasted at left edge over the title slip printed in English. Both are within a central panel on an engraved leaf bearing an allegorical image.
Counts of plates and maps includes a world map (on 2 leaves) at front that may not have been originally issued with the atlas. See: Koeman.
