Although paged separately, the sections on Naples and Sicily do not have separate half titles, title pages, or caption titles.
Dedicated to Gaspar de Bracamonte, conde de Peñaranda de Bracamonte signed Joannes Blaeu, Amstelædamensis and gives the title as: Theatrum civitatum et admirandorum Neapolis et Siciliae regnorum.
Plate of Calatia (between pages 55 & 56) bears imprint: Amstelaedami, Ioannes Blaeu excudebat.
Some duplicating of page nos. (e.g., 51, 52, 51b, 52, 51, 52b).
Plate 'Napoli' signed Bastiaen Stopendaal; plate 'Neapolis et Vesuvii montis prospectus' signed G. Houfnaglius.
