Set of alphabet tiles, made of bone, letters incised and inked in black, with upper case and lower case on opposite sides of each tile. The tiles each measure 17 x 8 x 3 mm. The set is enclosed within a mahogany box, the top of which slides into a simple groove. Inset in the box top is a bone tile bearing the title: "Spelling alphabet."
The set includes two instances of each letter, with a third set of the vowels (and the letter 'Y'). - Subject Terms:
