One of two editions of this work printed in the period 1475-1480 by Heinrich Eggestein, this one set in single-column, the other in double columns. A.W. Pollard, in Catalogue of books printed in the XVth century now in the British Museum, v. 1 (1908), stated: "This edition is slightly more correct than the one printed in double columns, but it is diffcult to to find any decisive proof as to which is the earlier." In Catalogue of books mostly from the presses of the first printers (1910) he stated that it was "probably earlier".
The author identifies himself, in first sentence of the dedication (page [3]), as "ludolph[us] [par]rochialis ecclesie in Suchen rector".
Ampersand in colophon title transcription represents a Tironian sign.
