Notes:
Title from first line of verse.
Printed in grey, blue, yellow and gold. Images superimposed on the bird form a sort of tryptich. At center (on the breast of the bird) is a golden chalice with, the stem of which is formed by an embraced man and woman. On either side of the chalice, on the wings of the bird, are two angels (upper wing) and a pair of putti (lower wing). Also printed on the lower wing, in red ink, are two lines of verse from William Blake's The marriage of heaven and hell: "How do you know but ev'ry bird that cuts the airy way, is an immense world of delight, clos'd by your senses five?"
The sheet is trimmed to follow the outline of the form of the bird. Issued with five horizontal folds, one each down the center of the body and wings of the bird, and one between each wing and the body.
