The London Gazette of November 9, 1860 (page 4155), notes a "Timothy Satchell, late of no. 158 Fenchurch Street, in the city of London ... hatter, deceased, who died on the 20th day of February, 1860 ..."

Completed in pen and black ink.
Records four purchases made on March 26 and June 20, in which Charles Byass (of Langbourne Chambers) buys a velvet hat, cashmere band, hat repd., and a rustic hat, totalling £1/1/0. Dated at top : London [June] 18[49]. Satchell records receipt of payment on July 26th, 1849.
