With the later bookplates of Francis Charles Fourth Earl of Kilmorey, and Eleanor Needham (the Kilmorey family name).
Manuscript memorandum book kept by an unidentified traveler on a Grand Tour of the continent in 1827, arranged in 24 "tours" covering the route from Calais to Paris, Geneva and Turin. The diary comprises a title leaf, an index of the itinerary, 50 pages of notes, and a four-page list (at end) of tradespersons. Later bookplates in the volume suggest that it was written by a member of the family of the Earl of Kilmorey. The author may be Francis Jack Needham, Viscount Newry and Morne, 2nd Earl of Kilmorey (1787-1880), who traveled extensively on the continent.
