- Scope and Content:
- Letter from Maude Douglas (signed "Maude Francis") dated Feb. 8 1892 (in graphite, perhaps at a later time), addressed to "old Boysie" and indicated as coming from "Theatre Royal/Drury Lane." Maude writes her friend to say that she is enclosing a photograph "as you desired" but that she has not been able to be photographed in her "Portugal dress" because "they cannot allow it until later on." She asks her correspondent to write and give her his/her opinion
