- Piozzi asks for charity for the orphaned grandson of a sister of the Dean of Chester. Piozzi hears that her cousin Mary's son (and his wife) are dead, leaving their child in poverty to solicit aid from relations. Piozzi asks Dr. Thackeray to help find this young man employment. It is unclear if the grandson of the sister of the Dean of Chester and the grandson of Mrs. Piozzi's cousin Mary are the same person.
