1. A catalogue of that magnificent and truly valuable collection of pictures, the production of the great artists of the British School, known as the collection of the Shakspeare Gallery : formed under the spirited directions, and with the unbounded expence, by those distinguished promoters of the fine arts, the Messrs. Boydell's : these justly-admired pictures, in which the poetry of our Great Bard has furnished occasion for a proud display of national talent, comprises many of the happiest efforts of such deceased artists as the immortal Sir Joshua Reynolds, Wright of Derby, Hodges, Romney, Hamilton, Wheatley, Kirk, Ramberg, and others, the rarity as well as the excellence of whose works, must insure them a distinguished place in the collection of the connoisseur : among the spirited performances of living genius, are the King Lear, by Mr. West : and various by Barry, Northcote, Opie, Tesham, Fuseli, Hoppner, Smirke, Stothard, Peters, Rigaud, Westall, Boydell, A. Kauffman : and that admirable set of cabinet pictures by Mr. Smirke : basso relievos, by the Hon. Mrs. Damer : and the Grand Alto Relievo, the Apotheosis of Shakspeare, by the late Thomas Banks, Esq. R.A. : many of the above pictures are of the cabinet size, and the remainder will be found worthy objects for the late saloons of the nobility and Gentry, or the Halls of Incorporate Bodies, or for Exhibitions in distant parts of the kingdom : the whole will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Friday, May 17, 1805, and two following days, (Sunday excepted), at twelve o'clock, by order of the proprietor, without reserve.

2. Museum Goughianum. : A catalogue of the entire collection of prints, drawings, coins, medals, seals, painted glass, paintings, pottery, brass monuments, marble fragments, Chinese and other bronzes, miniatures, seals and miscellaneous antiquities, of that eminent antiquary Richard Gough, Esq. lately deceased. / Which will be sold by auction by Leigh and S. Sotheby, booksellers, at their house, no. 145, Strand, opposite Catherine street, on Thursday, July 19, 1810, and two following days, at 12 o'clock. To be viewed on Monday, July 16, and catalogues (price 6d.) to be had at the place of sale.

Den Enden, and other fine impressions of the works of Ruben's, Bolswert, Galle, Pontius, Vischer, Soutman, Poilly, Roussellet, Daulle, Bloemart, Edelink, Spiere, Carracci, M. Antonio, A. Durer : Italian and Dutch etchings : views, &c. by Hollar : modern proofs by Bartolozzi, Strange, &c. : a most capital set of Swiss views by Aberli : drawings by Guardi, &c. : valuable books of prints and antiquities : a capital set of Hogarth's works, &c. &c. &c. : the antiquities consist of bustos, vases, bas reliefs, bronzes, gems, coins, medals, curious carvings in ivory and wood, Raphael's Ware, &c. &c. : which (by order of the executors, and pursuant to the directions of the will of the late John Strange, Esq.) will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, on the premises, on Wednesday, March 19, 1800, and four following days, (Sunday excepted), at twelve o'clock : may be viewed five days preceding the sale, when catalogues may be had (at one shilling and sixpence each) to be returned to purchasers.

Bourdon, Old Palma, D. Teniers, Vandyke, Poussin, Rotenhamer, C. Maratti, Polemberg, Hondicooter, Borgognoni, Zachtleven, Old Franks, &c the property of the late Alexander Scott, Esq. : which will be sold by auction by Peter Coxe, Burrell, and Foster, at Mrs. Macklin[s Great Room, known as the Poet's Gallery, No. 39, the south side of Fleet-Street, on Wednesday, the 27h of June 1804, and two following days, at eleven o'clock.
